Help for Heroes
Launched at Edinburgh Castle in March 2012 by The Help for Heroes charity the tartan was inspired by two former soldiers, George Neil and Bill McGregor, who both served with 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland before leaving the Army. The Help for Heroes tartan takes the recognised colours of the British Armed Forces including navy blue for the Royal Navy, the lighter blue of Royal Air Force and red for the Army. The result is a really striking tartan which works well for clothing and accessories.
For a contemporary look, match it with a Navy or Charcoal Tweed Jacket and Waistcoat or for the more traditional style, wear a Prince Charlie Jacket and Waistcoat. Dark or silver buttons are available with matching belt buckle, sporran cantle and kilt pin.
Boys kilts available in sizes 18" to 26" waist and adult kilts available in sizes 28" to 50" waist. Adult Trews available.
We can provide matching tartan ties and bow ties for hire or purchase.
